The non-native (European) Bachelor's Button is a garden escapee that is uncommon in our area. This annual is 16-35" tall, with grey-green branched stems. The lance-shaped leaves are ½-2" long. The flowers are an intense blue, 1–2" diameter, with a ring of a few large, spreading ray florets surrounding a central cluster of disk florets.
