Field Chickweed
(Field Mouse-ear) The native Field Chickweed is uncommon in our area but may be found in open woodlands or along stream banks. It has opposite untoothed leaves that clasp the stem. Its 5-petaled deeply-cleft white blossoms have longer and brighter petals than the other chickweeds.
